street roots is an established 501(c)(3) non-profit
corporation.
We operate on a shoestring budget that is maintained by our
paper sales and sustained by donations from generous supporters and
contributors within the community.
Since 1998, street roots has helped more than 100 homeless single
persons and families, with no other safety net, to cover their basic living
costs, and then some.
We welcome your support!
You are also more than welcome to bring sandwiches, ready-to-eat meals,
fruit, snacks, and beverages for our street
vendors. Please call ahead at 503.228.5657 to make sure someone
will be in the office (211 NW Davis St.) to receive your food donation.
