Although over 70 active vendors currently buy and resell street roots (published every two weeks), sales don't bring in nearly enough revenue to cover our costs. Without consistent income from advertising, small press publishing, and other ventures, we will continue to need private donations from people like you to stay in business.
Where else can you find an organization that provides a fair income to displaced people with few other economic opportunites, invites them to the table to participate in key operating decisions, imbues them with marketable skills, and then actively engages them in plotting its future? Where else but street roots!
