We are Dan and Donna. We are homeless. We are on the streets in Portland every day selling street roots to get through the day. We go back to our bridge and sleep the rest of the night away.
The sun comes up again. We go get our morning coffee. We ride our bikes with our trailer, too. We pick up our papers in the morning and go to our local spot with a smile and a kind word, hoping to sell a paper. That will make our day. When day ends, we go back to our bridge again and wait for morning to do it all over again.
