Jessica Pollard

she/her

Jessica Pollard joined Street Roots as a contract staff reporter in the spring of 2020. Prior to that, she covered education and public safety at the Hermiston Herald and the East Oregonian in rural Umatilla County's biggest city. She studied geography and spent much of her time editing and writing for student publications at Portland State University, where she is a graduate of the University Honors College. She previously interned at the Willamette Week and is an alumna of The Immigrant Story's scholar program.
