Monica Kwasnik was Street Roots' editorial producer for six years starting in 2015, just after the paper began publishing weekly. Previously, she was a news editor, copy editor and digital producer at newspapers in New Jersey, New York, Missouri and Oregon, as well as a journalism educator. Monica, a native Oregonian, earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication and her master's degree from the Missouri School of Journalism.
