The following all-star group of women will perform on Sunday, November 23: Alice DiMicele, legendary, Southern Oregon-based, singer and songwriter, Jenny Conlee (The Decemberists, Black Prairie), Portland's own Little Sue and Street Roots songwriter and reporter Sue Zalokar.
"I am honored to support Kate in her recovery," says singer and songwriter Alice DiMicele. "Both Kate and her daughter Zoe have been supporting my music for many years and I am happy to lend a hand to help her get through this rough patch."
"Kate helped Street Roots get to the place it is today, and without her leadership we would still be staggering out in the wilderness," says Israel Bayer with Street Roots. "Kate is at the heart of Street Roots. We love Kate and want to support her on her journey."
Some people may remember Kate's reporting on traumatic brain injury that won a first place prize from the Society of Professional Journalists.
