Thursday is being called a national day of protest against the proposed taxpayer-funded bailout of the country’s financial institutions – you know – the $2,000 surcharge each and all of us will pay for the privilege of living in the shadow of unfettered capitalism. Oregon Action will be coordinating e-mails and phone calls to Oregon Congressional delegates during the day, calling for public oversight, taxpayer protections, and holding the CEO’s responsible.

The announcement from Oregon Action follows after the jump.
