On Thursday, May 5, the Artreach Gallery will host a group show, sponsored by Northwest Pilot Project’s Art in the Lobby program, featuring work by several artists, including Street Roots volunteer Mary Pacios. Pacios will have four of her charcoal drawings in the Group Show at the Artreach Gallery. The exhibition also features work by artists Pat Ashby, Linda Aleta Coffman, Doug Emmons, Nancy Fasciani, Pat Field, Emma Galvan, Ron Munson, Jeffrey Nedd, Donna Scollard, Terry Lee Steichen and Frances Wood. The public is invited to a reception for the artists from 5 to 7 p.m. that day.
Artreach Gallery is located at 1126 SW Park Avenue in the First Congregational Church, across the Park Blocks from the Museum of Art’s Mark Building. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Northwest Pilot Project (NWPP), helps the elderly and disabled with transportation, relocation and housing services, and sponsors Art in the Lobby, a program that provides a creative experience in the visual arts to clients and seniors associated with NWPP. Monthly art shows in NWPP’s lobby, field trips, workshop and off-site exhibits such as the Group Show are some of the activities available to participants in the Art in the Lobby program.
