Lori De Tie: March 26, 1976 - Dec. 2, 2019
Lolo was born in Portland on March 26, 1976, to Mary K. Hoskinson, weighing 6 pounds, 10 ounces, and 21 inches long. She was speaking 26 words before she was even a year old.
She had a zest for life and put her all into whatever the wind blew her direction. She had three children – Alyssa, Justin and Pauleena.
She knew she always had a place to go if she was cold, warm, hungry or scared, but she liked to be her own person with no restrictions. This is what made her the person she was and put the sparkle in her eyes and the smile on her face that she wore proudly.
She sadly passed surrounded by her family and friends on Dec. 2. She will be missed immensely by her family, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Another angel has her wings and is with her creator.
Street Roots will host a memorial service for Lolo at 9:30 a.m. Jan. 2 at the Street Roots office, 211 NW Davis St. All are welcome.
