Piper McDaniel reports on social justice, climate change and other interesting things. She was an investigative fellow at Mother Jones, and has been published in The Oregonian, NPR, the Los Angeles Times, Huffington Post, High Country News and others. She won a Los Angeles Associated Press award for her reporting on the role of poverty in California’s black-market cannabis industry.
