Rose City Resource Manager

Sophie Maziraga is a first-generation Ugandan American. She is passionate about advocating for mental health, women's rights, and socio-economic justice. In her free time, she journals and studies apiculture.

Sophie began as the Vendor Program Assistant in June of 2019 and transitioned to now serve as the Rose City Resource Manager in June of 2020. At this current role, she manages updates the online and physical Rose City Resource guides (RCRG) and the Rose City Resource Program. The RCRGs are the comprehensive guide to resources in Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington counties. These guides are updated every six months. As the Rose City Resource Manager, she also advocates for wellness-based partnerships for Street Roots Vendors. She actively pursues resources to uplift people experiencing homelessness and poverty.
